When Kelsey, founder (and Chief Granola Officer) of Kel’s Kitchen Table, approached us to redesign her granola packaging, the goal was clear: honor what her loyal customers already loved while elevating the brand for its next chapter. Kel’s had already earned its place as a local favorite, and this refresh was about setting the stage for national growth while staying true to the heart of the brand.

We focused on preserving the familiar, thoughtful feel of the brand. Soft pastels, rustic hand drawn elements, and that small batch charm all come together in a design that looks right at home stacked on your kitchen counter. The result feels both comforting and polished, cozy yet considered.

At the same time, we were intentional about how the brand shows up in an increasingly competitive shelf space. Key product details were highlighted on the front of the package, allowing customers to quickly understand the value of the product. When you turn it over, you are met with a personal note from Kelsey herself, reinforcing the feeling that she had a direct hand in the granola you are about to purchase.
What began as a single packaging redesign quickly grew into something much bigger. We loved working together so much that the project expanded to include an additional product line design, a full website redesign, and a product photoshoot. After months of close collaboration, we are walking away from this project with some of our favorite designs to date, cabinets full of incredible granola, and a new friend we fully plan to grab a drink with in New York on our next visit.
