Mother-in-Law’s is a premium line of kimchi, Gochujang, and Gochugaru, dedicated to sharing delicious, authentic, handcrafted small-batch kimchi made with the finest natural ingredients. "As I started my new role at Mother-in-Law's, I prioritized establishing a unified visual and messaging brand system as a first key project. After interviewing numerous impressive studios and independent contractors, we chose Yancu Creative for our 'soft rebrand'—they captured our vision for a modern yet iconic refresh of our 15-year-old brand, the leader in Korean flavors.

Collaborating with Katie Yancu and Brooke Tiller was an absolute pleasure. Our deep discussions about the company’s goals and reflections on past standout designs led to a perfect blend of visual continuity and modern, bespoke elements.

Thanks to our new brand guide, we've streamlined how we brief new partners and simplified our marketing team’s design process .We were so excited to debut our new branding at Expo West, and the enthusiastic feedback from buyers, investors, and fans reaffirmed our direction. We’re eager to expand this branding across more areas next quarter.
